On The First Day of Testimony, Amber Heard claims that Johnny Depp Physically abused Her.

Her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, is suing her for defamation and called Amber Heard’s testimony in a Virginia courtroom on Wednesday to share his side of the story.

When Heard’s counsel asked her how she felt about the case, Heard stated, “I struggle to find the words to convey how awful this is.” Reliving everything over and over again for weeks is “awful” for me.

After her legal team presented a clinical psychologist who stated that Heard was diagnosed with panic disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder, the actress spoke on her own behalf.

Heard spoke for more than two hours about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of Johnny Depp. At the Fairfax County Circuit Court, Depp has testified many times that he did not assault Heard.

Heard testified in court that she and Depp had a “mutual energy” when they first met when they were both 22, despite the fact that they were both in prior long-term, committed relationships at the time.

According to Heard, the two fell in love years later, after they had both separated from their partners. They were in a “whirlwind romance” in the beginning of their relationship, according to her.

“Johnny made me feel like a million dollars when I was with him,” she recalled.

When Heard began to testify about Depp’s alleged abuse of alcohol and drugs, she claimed that the actor had subjected her to psychological and physical violence on several occasions. Degrading slurs, claims of adultery, and continual belittling were all part of the abuse, she said, as were violent outbursts that included breaking windows and hitting walls. A lot of the time, he’d punch a wall right in front of her, she told me.

That’s when Johnny Depp attacked her, according to Heard, when she inquired about an obscure tattoo on his arm that he claimed said “Wino.”

“Because I assumed he was joking, I cracked a smile and shook my head. he hit me in the face with a hard smack “She revealed this to the jury throughout her testimony. She remembered laughing again “because I didn’t know what was going on,” since she didn’t know how to respond.

Two additional slaps were reported by Heard.

“You’d think that as a woman, you’d have a response, but I’d never been struck like that in my life. The man I love smacked me in the face for no apparent reason as an adult “she stated.

Johnny Depp asked for forgiveness immediately after the event and swore never to harm her again, and she accepted his apology a few days later, according to sources. She stated that this was the beginning of a pattern of abuse.

Jurors were shown a picture of Heard’s injured arm by her legal team. She referred to Johnny Depp as “Depp.” “grabbed my arm and screamed at me while holding me on the floor. The number of times he smacked me across the face is beyond me.”

Depp’s conduct changed depending on the narcotics he was taking at the time, according to Heard.

“Johnny on opiates and Johnny on speed are two totally different people. Johnny on opiates is a very different animal than Johnny on Adderall or cocaine, or even Johnny on quaaludes.”

The day before, Heard’s psychologist, Dawn Hughes, testified that Depp had subjected her to emotional abuse and violence throughout their relationship.

Depp is suing Heard for an op-ed published by The Washington Post in 2018 in which Heard advocated support for the Violence Against Women Act and asked for change in the way the United States treats abuse survivors.

Even though Depp’s name was not mentioned in the essay, his 2019 court complaint states that “the op-ed plainly was about… Ms. Heard’s purported victimisation after she publicly accused her former husband, Johnny Depp, of domestic abuse in 2016, when she appeared in court with an apparently battered face and obtained a temporary restraining order against Mr. Depp. ”

In addition to compensatory damages and a punitive verdict of at least $350,000, Depp also sought legal fees and court costs in his defamation lawsuit against Heard.

His legal team wrongly accused Heard of inventing allegations against Depp, so she launched a countersuit for $100 million in damages against the 58-year-old actor.
